In School Intervention

Many teens engage in risky, self-destructive behaviors related to alcohol and drugs, sexual activity, and gang involvement, which greatly affects their academic achievement and personal growth. Students can receive one-on-one sessions with Mattie Rhodes therapists in a school setting to address many of these challenges. 

Young boy Free PhotoCounseling: Masters- level clinically trained school social workers are housed at multiple local schools, working with children and youth of all ages on a variety of issues ranging from drugs, gangs, behavior problems, and academics, to family issues, pregnancy, depression, and bullying. 

Service Coordination: The service coordinators help link students with resources and services in the areas of education assistance, health care, family support, and employment, and work closely with the school and family.
