Mujer/Woman: Latina Artists as Examiners, Documenters, and Creators

As part of Women’s History Month the Mattie Rhodes Center Art Gallery is proud to present an exhibit highlighting the multidimensionality of being a Woman Artist and Latina at this point in time, history and location. Looking closely at the role of the Artist as Examiner, Documenter, and Creator and working within the various practices and approaches relevant to todays’ contemporary artists; we are seeking emerging and established Women Artists as well as national Artists (with a love for the Midwest) to participate and submit works that will expand on this visual narrative.
