7th Annual Brightening Lives, Building Futures Luncheon

Each year, Mattie Rhodes Center brings together friends of the agency to raise money for children and families here in KC. This year’s luncheon theme will focus on our current Capital Campaign to build the Mattie Rhodes Cultural Center, a creative space that will allow for enhanced education, therapy and arts programming while providing a safe and welcoming space for the community. All proceeds from the event will go toward the campaign

The keynote speaker will be Mayor Sly James of Kansas City, Missouri and the Co-Chairs for the capital campaign are Danny O’Neill of The Roasterie and Maria Vasquez-Boyd, local artist and producer and host of ArtSpeak Radio on KKFI.

Tickets to the luncheon are complimentary, but we hope you will be inspired to make a tax-deductible donation to support the Mattie Rhodes Cultural Center
