The event will be at the corner of 17th Street & Jarboe and feature DJ Munch, Las Estrellas, DJ Astro and Tejano Star Gary Hobbs! Enjoy artisan vendors, food trucks, free children’s art activities and more.

EVENT DETAILS

  • Individuals are encouraged to park along West Pennway facing either south or north.
  • West 17th Street between Belleview and Jarboe will be closed to vehicular traffic.
  • The stage will be set on the 1600 block of Jarboe, facing south.
  • Guests may bring tents and umbrellas to set up in the outfield of Jarboe Park only!
  • Please bring your own chairs, they may be set up on the street in front of the stage, first come, first served.
  • Feel free to bring your own coolers, refreshments and food trucks will also be available to purchase additional items located in the Primitivo Garcia parking lot.
  • We are asking individuals to avoid bringing glass bottles.
  • Families can enjoy free kid’s activities by Mattie Rhodes Center.
  • Mattie Rhodes Center will be selling water, soda and snow cones:  cash only!
  • There will be a brief program at 7:45 p.m. with a moment of silence in remembrance for those family and friends lost to COVID, Mayor Quinton Lucas will be present.
  • The KCMO Health Department has partnered with Heart to Heart International to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations. They will be onsite from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Primitivo Garcia Parking lot.
  • Portable restrooms will be available as well as hand sanitizer.
  • Face masks are encouraged for those that are not fully vaccinated.
